• Festival of Grapes & Hops - 277 River St, Petersburg, VA 23803
  The 2025 Festival of Grapes and Hops will take place on September 20, bringing a celebration of local craft beverages to historic Downtown Petersburg. Along with musical entertainment from 11 am to 6 pm, the festival will include wine and beer tastings from regional wineries and breweries, along with vendors from across the commonwealth.   If you love oysters, then you simply cannot miss OystoberFest, which returns to Richmond on October 4, 2025.   One of Virginia's biggest musical events of the year, the Richmond Folk Festival is slated to return to Brown's Island and the Richmond Riverfront on October 10-12, 2025. • Richmond Oktoberfest - 600 E Laburnum Ave, Richmond, VA 23222
  Now in its 55th year, Richmond Oktoberfest is one of Virginia's best traditional Oktoberfest celebrations. This year's event takes place on October 17-18 at the Richmond Raceway Complex and will include a lively blend of authentic German music, dancing, and entertainment. Traditional food, including German potato pancakes, pretzels, bratwurst, and knackwurst, will be available, and there will be no shortage of beer from Germany's most legendary breweries. 
  
  
• Scott's Addition Pumpkin Festival - 2401 W Leigh St, Richmond, VA 23220
  Free to attend, the Scott's Addition Pumpkin Festival has become one of the most anticipated family events of the fall season in Richmond. The festival begins at noon on October 25 at the Midtown Green near the revitalized Scott's Addition Historic District. Live bands, food and drink vendors, and Richmond's most epic Halloween costume contest are highlights of this exciting event.
  
  
• HarvestFest - 1800 Lakeside Ave, Henrico, VA 23228
